Expertise and career highlights
For 12 years, Jamie has worked on numerous specialist bespoke strategic consulting assignments at SFA (Oxford) across multiple sectors. He has played a vital role in more than 70 projects for upstream and downstream stakeholders for key executives.
Jamie has undertaken many due diligence projects with Stephen Forrest and SFA's associates and has been heavily involved in analysing and augmenting mine planning efforts and formulating new strategies for mining companies across PGMs and Battery Metals. More recently, Jamie has been involved in green hydrogen and fuel cell projects for clients.
Jamie co-led the analyst team to complete deep-dive research and competitor analytics on the future of cities and mobility solutions to 2050. Jamie has worked his way up the consulting ladder from joining as a Mining Analyst (in 2010) to becoming Strategy Analyst: Project Consulting (2011), Senior Strategy Analyst: Project Consulting (2015), to his current position, Principal Consultant (2019).
Between consulting projects, Jamie is heavily involved in SFA's events and marketing campaigns, brand development, and more recently, delivering SFA's new website for the team.
Jamie joined SFA as a graduate from Camborne School of Mines (BEng Mining Engineering), and the University of Aberdeen (MSc Oil and Gas Enterprise Management), and prior work experience at Golden Star Resources in Ghana (2006) and Altus Strategies (2007).
