Expertise and career highlights

Lakshya joined SFA (Oxford) after completing his Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. He is currently working on comprehensive due diligence studies in battery materials, technologies and associated metals (cobalt, lithium, nickel).

Lakshya works with Oksan to model automotive battery demand and address the evolving regional mix of battery metals in cathode technologies.

Lakshya was an integral part of the research to SFA's ‘Future of cities and mobility solutions’ report, a global deep-dive study focusing on the impact on strategic commodities from emerging technologies and shifting market trends. The majority of his research was focused on the sustainability of personal automobility through evaluating the global megatrends of rising city populations, growing pressure to mitigate air pollution and an expanding network of connected devices.
